Every once in awhile we get to travel up to the capital city from the lonely far out town. This is a picture of a Catholic Church in a plaza in the middle of the city.
This was a group protesting the government for some reason or another. There are always protests going on. Mostly it is because they want the government to give them some free money or something. Some people have jobs as professional protesters. The guy I am next to chained himself to a chair. I think it lasted until the siesta. Can't miss that now can we.
Here is a picture of the the capital, or the governors mansion as they call it. The protesters were right next to me. All the capital buildings has this same kind of old look to them and look amazing at night.
This is me in front of that same mansion during the day. Not as impressive, but nice none the less.
Forget billboards, they just paint the advertisement right onto the building. I wonder if that is how they paid for it? On a side note, people drink more coca cola then water.
